There's always a story to the different playlists that I make. This is an actual playlist that I made over the week just cause lately, the weather that Vancity has been... well, its shitty. I don't know about you, but whenever it rains and looks ugly out, I don't even want to step foot out of my house. Procrastination and being lethargic comes hand in hand and my lovely solution to the "Vancity Rainy Blues":

GAWT DAMMMN-Nike Air Flight Condor Hi Cinder Volt

I'm a big fan of high-tops and come to think of it, Nike Flights were my very very 1st pair of nikes' I ever got as a kid. Although the color scheme is somewhat loud, the brown tones it down and the bright accents add a perfect touch to a well structured shoe.

VERDICT: A classic basketball profile with style to be reckoned with.

Many of you should know that I'm real big on music. I never leave the house without some source of music, whether it be my ipod, cd's I make for my friends when we go out in the car, to posts on facebook and I even have music on my blackberry as backup just in case i ever forget my ipod.

My whole outlook on music is that its an art form that unites and relates to every single person on this entire planet. Let's admit, music has done us no wrong, its been there for you when you just broke up with that sigificant person, music was playing while you and your friends were on a road trip somewhere, and music has the ability to make you feel good in a way we all know but can't explain.

So as a treat, I've reserved Sunday posts for what I'd like to call " Sunday Night Sessions". Just as my 1st post, I've decided to call it "On The Go #1"-

I just finished my nutrition assigment and so i feel like I missed out on a good solid 3 hours of not listening to anything. This track is off Brian McKnights new album "Evolution of a Man".
I particularly like this song most from the album, a great r&b track sprinkled with a hint of sexiness

Thank you to my fellow and close friend Pabs, he posted this on my facebook. Himself, another sneaker freak, knows that i can never say no to a pair of Jordans, even though the color scheme is not the usual for me. I have to say, the color blocks and accents to this lovely shoe would look dope on my feet. I'd totally rock these.

It's said to be part of a Spring 2010 release along with a "coral rose" Jordan 6 that are also being released within the same time frame. We all know the ladies with shoe steaze will be all up on that... but forreal, what are the likeness of this gracing our shelves?? El Kartel or Livestock?? who knows! But if they were to carry it.. ladies, get ready to chop your limbs off... it'll probably cost you your arms and legs!

For those that don't know, I'm quite the shoe fanatic and I own over 100 pairs of kicks and one of them being pair of Supra Muska Suede Hightops with the croc accents in black. I went down to Underground today, just to check the new stock and was told these bad boys will grace their shelves in the next couple months.

I have to admit, the black ones are pretty sexy and would look lovely on my feet !

Electro Lovin' - Wolfgang Gartner

Alright, so I've decided to turn this blog into a music and etc.. kinda blog now. Considering my friends on facebook are probably getting annoyed from all the youtube posts going onto their newsfeed- Hahahaha apologies my ppl who do have me on facebook, although I have gotten lots of feed back and all, I just think this blogspot would be a way more convienent.

Ok... So this 1st music entry would have to be about one of my favorite electro house Dj: Wolfgang Gratner

A couple friends and I were lucky enough to get our hands on 3 tickets to go see him at The Modern Night Club last month and I'd have to say, Wolfgang put on one sick show. Even though we were ticket holders and waited outside for a good hour and a bit... it was well worth the wait.

For those who dont know much about him, let me fill you in:

Wolfgang Gartner aka Joey Youngman born and raised in California picked up the love of electro at the tender age of 11. He synced drum beats to his keyboard and started to teach himself how to beatmatch tracks with his 4 deck tape player to his other 2 deck tape player at age 12.

By 2004 he was in the San Fransico house scene and after successfully releasing dope tracks, he was signed and started touring. With all the glory and fame, Joey got lost into drugs and checked into rehab. With time to think, he found that his love was not for the money, drugs and fame, his love for music was far greater than anything. He cleaned up and left rehab, he wanted a fresh start and that was when he went under the alias "Wolfgang Gratner"

After witnessing a wicked set, hearing about his story and how he came about to be come the world-known Wolfgang Gartner- it just makes you love and appreciate his music way more.
